Surveen Chawla's Baby Girl Eva Finds A Godfather In Anurag Kashyap
Surveen Chawla and her husband Akshay Thakker welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world on April 15. SpotboyE was the first one to break the news. On April 19, the Hate Story actress also shared the arrival of her princess on social media and also treated fans with a super cute picture of her daughter’s tiny feet. Surveen also revealed that she has named her daughter Eva. On April 22, the actress was discharged from the hospital and they took their daughter home.

And now, Surveen and Akshay have chosen Eva’s Godfather? And that's filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Last night, the Manmarziyan director took to Instagram, where he shared a picture with the newborn and introduced himself as Eva’s Godfather. In its caption, he wrote, “Eva and her Godfather @surveenchawla @akshaythakker.”
Surveen had taken to Instagram and shared a picture of Eva. She wrote, “We now have her tiny feet to fill the tiny shoes! Blessed by her wonderful arrival in our little family! Welcoming our daughter Eva.”
Earlier, talking about her pregnancy to Bombay Times, Surveen had said, “It’s a beautiful feeling and more so, as it has come completely unexpected for Akshay and me. Suddenly, life has become beautiful. I am looking forward to every step now. Of course, it’s unfamiliar territory, but the only one that comes with a guarantee of being wonderful. Akshay and I feel really blessed!”

Chawla had further added, “Honestly, initially, the fear of change engulfed me, but later, the beauty of it all started sinking in. Now, I feel like I am embarking on a new journey and adventure of sorts. I don’t know how many women will tell you the truth, but the reality is that motherhood is a slow, gradual process. Motherly instincts are not born out of nowhere. Motherhood, to me, is a feeling that grows on you, with the growing life inside you. I think just the fact that women are designed to grow a whole being inside them is a far more superior feeling.”
